Why Members Love Games Night
I’m a new member and went to your New Members’ Night at the Cosy Club. This was highly elegant, well-organised and I was made exceptionally welcome! I can sometimes find new social events a little intimidating so was astonished at how comfortable I felt in your carefully curated environment! Thank you and I’ll certainly attend some more of your events! Kind regards, Mark.

I’ve really enjoyed being part of Affinity. There’s a great variety of events, from meals and nights out to paint and sip evenings, so there’s always something to suit everyone. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming, so even if you go on your own, you quickly feel included. I’d definitely recommend it!

I decided to join Affinity because I was already friendly with a few of the event hosts and was excited to keep that sense of togetherness going. The atmosphere at Affinity events is so welcoming, and with such a mix of events there’s always something for everyone.
What really stood out to me was the excellent hosting, which makes everyone feel genuinely at home. In one sentence: Affinity is wonderfully inclusive. Even if you turn up on your own, you’re made to feel part of the group.

My adult children left home a few years ago and my social circle seemed to be depleting, I just wanted to have fun and meet new people. My friend Paul encouraged me to attend the Affinity Launch and I am SO grateful I went!
Upon arrival I was anxious, self conscious and out of my comfort zone but I was made to feel SO welcome! Met some.incredible humans!
Had such a laugh! I even started playing a party game with the balloons! I am proudly over 17 years sober and clearly do not need to drink to have fun! Attended several events and have lots upcoming too! Come.and join us! Best thing I did!

Affinity Club has organised some fab events and is a really lovely group of people. I’ve met some really lovely new friends since being a member. Thank you hosts 🙂 x

I was introduced to this group as I recently moved to Nottingham and had no friends here. After a short period of time, I have been out several times doing various activities. I have also experienced new things in life. Most importantly,
I have met lots of wonderful people, and now have made some amazing friends too. Thank you to all those involved in organising and hosting the events.

I’ve attended quite a few events now, from dinners to drinks, and every one has been a great experience. Everyone is genuinely friendly and welcoming. Walking into a room where you don’t know anyone can feel a little daunting at first, but the hosts and members go out of their way to make you feel included from the moment you arrive.
One thing I particularly like is that the groups are a good size, not too large so you have the chance to chat and connect with most people. The hosts clearly care about creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring no one feels left out.
My only complaint is that there are so many great events to choose from that I can’t attend them all 😂
I’m really glad I joined and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to meet new people and enjoy some fantastic social events.

I joined Affinity to broaden my friendship group following a breakdown of a long term relationship and it has not disappointed. I feel comfortable attending alone, the people I have met have welcomed me and I have found everyone very friendly.
I love the wide choice of activities.
My diary is now very full and I look forward with anticipation to having many more laughs and making great memories.
I would recommend this group to people looking to get out and enjoy themselves whilst making friends along the way.
