A riverside ramble and a well-earned lunch: our Lady Bay Walk in West Bridgford
Affinity members laced up their walking shoes on Sunday morning for our Lady Bay Walk & Optional Lunch, a relaxed daytime social set around The Hook in West Bridgford. With the River Trent on our doorstep and a bit of summer sunshine to see us off, it was exactly the kind of easy-going morning that these outdoor events do best.
We gathered at The Hook, that lovely green stretch of open space right on the riverside, and set off at a gentle pace along the water.
For those who fancied it, the walk rolled straight into lunch, and it turned out to be the perfect way to round things off.
Meeting new people, sharing great moments and creating memories is what these events are all about, and Sunday delivered all three beside the Trent.
