🍻 LFM October: Bar Hop of Nottingham’s Oldest Pubs

This October, we’re stepping back in time as we explore three of Nottingham’s oldest and most iconic pubs.

🎃 With centuries of history, hidden caves, ancient cellars and more than a few ghostly legends, these iconic pubs offer the perfect setting for an atmospheric October evening. Whether you believe the tales or not, you’re guaranteed a memorable night exploring some of Nottingham’s most fascinating historic pubs with great company.

📍 We’ll begin at Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem, where the doors first opened in 1189, making it England’s oldest surviving inn. Built into the caves beneath Nottingham Castle, it’s the perfect place to start the evening.

📍 From there, we’ll make our way to The Old Salutation Inn (“The Sal”), a 15th-century bedrock pub known for its rock music scene and spooky subterranean cave network.

📍 We’ll finish the crawl at The Bell Inn, one of the city’s oldest coaching inns, dating back to 1420 and featuring medieval cave systems, old timber beams and bags of historic character.
