Pancakes, coffee and a proper catch-up: brunch at The Pudding Pantry
A small group of us met at 12 noon at The Pudding Pantry in Trinity Square for a relaxed weekend brunch, with Tünde hosting.
The Pudding Pantry has been a Nottingham favourite since 2014, and it is easy to see why. Everything sweet is baked in-house, the coffee is taken seriously, and the menu runs from American-style pancakes with all sorts of toppings to eggs benedict and shakshuka for anyone who prefers their brunch savoury. There are vegan and gluten free options too.
It was a small table this time, which suited a Saturday lunchtime perfectly. Three people means one conversation, plenty of time to talk properly and nobody shouting across a long table to be heard. It is the kind of meet-up that works well if a big night out feels like a lot, or if you would simply rather see people over good food in daylight.
