Fourth place and a dog who knew nothing: Pub Quiz Night at the Trent Navigation

Sunday 4th October was quiz night at the Trent Navigation Inn on Meadow Lane. Kerry was hosting, and five of us squeezed round a table in one of the booths with drinks, answer sheets and a picture round to argue over.

It was a decent Sunday night quiz with a good spread of rounds, so everyone had something to chip in on. Some answers we were sure of, some we talked ourselves out of, and a couple were pure guesswork.

We finished fourth, which we were happy enough with. We also had Fred the dog with us, and it is fair to say Fred was no help at all. Not one answer between him.

A quiz team of five works well. Enough people to cover most subjects, and few enough that everyone gets a say on the final answer.

Thanks to Kerry for hosting, and to Nilesh, Tim, Michaela and Claire for coming along. Fred can try harder next time.
