A proper Friday night at Pitcher & Piano for August's LFM Social

Our Last Friday of the Month social took us to Pitcher & Piano on High Pavement, the old chapel at the top of the Lace Market, for terrace drinks and one of the busiest LFMs we have run.

The arched windows were lit in all the colours and it is still one of the better venues in Nottingham to have a drink in.

Numbers were great with 39 booked on to the event. There were plenty of familiar faces and a decent handful of people at their first Affinity event, which is really the point of LFM.

Thank you to our hosts for the evening, Alys, Claire and Tünde, who were there from the start and made sure nobody was left standing on the edge of things.

Worth repeating for anyone reading this who has not been to one: LFM is completely free and there is no paid membership involved. You register, you turn up, you buy your own drinks. It is the easiest way to try Affinity if you are new to Nottingham, working from home and not seeing many people, or just fancy a Friday that is not the same three pubs!
