Football, new faces and a night to remember — England vs Panama

Affinity members came together at The Loxley for one of the most anticipated evenings of the summer — England's final 2026 World Cup group stage match against Panama.

We'd reserved a raised area to the left of the bar exclusively for the group, and from the moment people started arriving it had a brilliant atmosphere. Members filtered in from 9pm, drinks were poured, introductions were made, and by the time kick-off came at 10pm the whole area had that perfect pre-match buzz.

On the pitch, England made it count. Bellingham broke the deadlock on 62 minutes, sweeping home from Saka's corner, before laying it on for Kane five minutes later. Harry's header making it 2-0 and, in the process, breaking Gary Lineker's record as England's all-time top scorer at a World Cup. A night to remember in more ways than one.

A brilliant night, and a great reminder of what Affinity is all about.
