Craft Beer Crawl – Nottingham

Our recent Craft Beer Crawl was a fantastic evening exploring some of Nottingham’s best-loved venues, bringing together great beer, relaxed conversation and plenty of laughs along the way.

Hosted by Lee and Terry, members joined us from the first stop and others dropped in throughout the evening, including a few additional unexpected friends which is great!

We made our way across the city sampling cask ales, craft beers and a few new discoveries.

The evening began at The Barrel Drop, a brilliant starting point with an excellent selection of cask ale and craft beer that set the tone for the night.

From there we headed to the beautiful Malt Cross, the stunning Victorian music hall that always offers a unique atmosphere alongside its award-winning ales.

Next stop was Tap House Nottingham, where the self-pour taps added a fun twist to the evening and gave everyone the chance to try a variety of beers and ciders at their own pace.

The group then continued to Kean’s Head, well known for its impressive range of craft beers from around the world, before finishing the evening at Six Barrel Drafthouse, a favourite among craft beer enthusiasts with its focus on independent breweries from across the UK.

What made the night special, as always with Affinity events, was the people. Friendly and sociable atmosphere from the start.

It was a relaxed and enjoyable evening discovering great venues, trying new beers and spending time with like-minded people.
