Sunshine, canalside strolls and a bar or three: our Canalside Summer Bar Hop in Nottingham

Affinity members made the most of a glorious summer's day on Saturday with a Canalside Summer Bar Hop, one of those easy, unhurried socials that runs from the afternoon right through into the evening. Fifteen of us came along, starting off at Cured in Nottingham before drifting along the waterside and seeing where the day took us.

By the second stop at Navigation Inn with another drink outside in the sun, the water alongside and good company all round, it is a hard combination to beat. Fifteen made for a lively, sociable crowd as we headed to our final stops at Fothergills and The Castle Pub.

A big thank you to everyone who came along and threw themselves into the day so wholeheartedly, and to Claire and Terry for hosting from the afternoon right through to the evening.

Meeting new people, sharing great moments and creating memories is what these days are all about, and Saturday delivered all three, in the sunshine.
