I’ve really enjoyed being part of Affinity. There’s a great variety of events, from meals and nights out to paint and sip evenings, so there’s always something to suit everyone. I decided to join Affinity because I was already friendly with a few of the event hosts and was excited to keep that sense of togetherness going. The atmosphere at Affinity events is so welcoming, and with such a mix of events there’s always something for everyone.

I’ve attended quite a few events now, from dinners to drinks, and every one has been a great experience. Everyone is genuinely friendly and welcoming. Walking into a room where you don’t know anyone can feel a little daunting at first, but the hosts and members go out of their way to make you feel included from the moment you arrive.
One thing I particularly like is that the groups are a good size, not too large so you have the chance to chat and connect with most people. The hosts clearly care about creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring no one feels left out.
My only complaint is that there are so many great events to choose from that I can’t attend them all 😂
I’m really glad I joined and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to meet new people and enjoy some fantastic social events.

Definitely. Many of our members joined after moving to the city and wanting to make friends. It is one of the easiest ways to meet people and discover great places at the same time.
Our hosts look out for new faces and make introductions, so nobody is left standing on their own. Groups are small and friendly, which makes it easy to join the conversation. It is often best to arrive on time, as that gives you a chance to chat with the hosts first, and they can introduce you to other members as they arrive.
Your first Affinity event is free, and most of our events are free to attend. A few events, typically dining events, may require a deposit to secure your place, and you simply pay for your own food and drink on the night. You can see membership options on our pricing page.
