Seventeen of us, a few bars and a very good Friday for September's LFM Social

Our Last Friday of the Month social started at The Mousetrap Social in Nottingham, with seventeen people booked in and a nice mix of regulars and first-timers coming through the door from half six.

The Mousetrap is a good room for the early part of the night. It is relaxed, the tables are close enough that conversations spill over between groups, and it is easy to walk in on your own and find someone to talk to within a couple of minutes. That is pretty much what happened.

Later on we moved over to Manahatta for the second half of the evening. The lighting goes purple, the music goes up and the energy changes completely. Glasses were raised, there was some dancing in the booths (and a few moves that probably should not be repeated in daylight!), and plenty of selfies that made it into the photos.

A big thank you to our hosts, Kirsty, for welcoming everyone on arrival, making the introductions and keeping the group together between venues. Thank you as well to everyone who came along, especially those who turned up for the first time. You made it a great night.

It is the easiest way to try Affinity if you are new to Nottingham, fancy meeting some new people, or just want a Friday night that is a bit different from usual.
