Riverside Stroll & Drinks at the Ferry Inn

Join us for a relaxed Sunday walk along Nottingham’s Embankment, a friendly and easy-going way to spend time outdoors and meet new people.

We’ll start at 1:15pm outside Brewhouse & Kitchen, then enjoy a leisurely riverside stroll beside the Trent before stopping at The Ferry Inn in Wilford for drinks and a chance to socialise.

A number of members have already pre-booked lunch, as The Ferry Inn is extremely popular and all indoor tables are now fully booked. If you’re joining us and haven’t reserved a table, you’re very welcome to still come along for drinks and some chat. If there’s space available in the garden, you may also be able to order food on the day, but unfortunately we can’t guarantee this.

After our stop at The Ferry Inn, we’ll head back towards the city centre on the opposite side of the river, making it a pleasant circular route. Expect fresh air, good company, and hopefully some summer sunshine to round off the weekend.

This event is ideal whether you’re coming on your own or with others — everyone (including well-behaved dogs) is welcome, and we always aim to create a relaxed, inclusive atmosphere.
