Cocktails, good company and wherever the night took us: our Saturday Night Out in Nottingham

Affinity members headed into the city on Saturday evening for a spontaneous night out. Five of us met up at Manahatta on Queen Street, one of our valued venue partners, to kick the night off in proper style.

Manahatta is hard to beat as a starting point. New York inspired interiors, a buzzing atmosphere, music in the background and a cocktail list as long as your arm. As one of our partner venues it also comes with a lovely little perk for Affinity members, 20% off food and selected drinks at a fiver, which certainly helped the first round go down nicely.

Our host Claire had the group settled and chatting in no time.A cocktail in hand, a comfortable booth and good conversation.

The beauty of a spontaneous Saturday night is that there is no fixed plan. Once we had settled in at Manahatta we simply saw where the mood took us, drifting on around Nottingham and letting the evening unfold at its own pace.

A big thank you to everyone who came along and threw themselves into the spirit of it, and to Claire for hosting so warmly and making sure nobody was left standing on their own.
