Every year, to celebrate Armed Forces Day, a free party is held in West Bridgford Park, bringing live music, food stalls, and a brilliant summer atmosphere, this year’s headliner being the spice girls experience.

We plan to head over for around 5pm, when the more commercial music will be playing and the evening is in full swing. We’ll relax on the grass with blankets, drinks, snacks, and great company while enjoying the music together. You’re welcome to bring your own food and drinks, or buy something there from the various stalls, with a couple of small supermarkets nearby too.

Getting there is easy from town via the 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9 bus routes, getting off at Central Avenue.

Whether you come solo or with friends, we’ll make sure you find us easily and are warmly welcomed into the group and introduced to others, making it easy to settle in and enjoy the night.
