The Curious Cabaret UNPLUGGED – Magic, Mystery & Plenty of Laughs

Our visit to The Curious Cabaret UNPLUGGED at Arc Space in Nottingham was an unforgettable evening of magic, mind reading and comedy.

Presented in its new fringe-style format, the venue and comedy club feel brought the performers closer to the audience, making every illusion, prediction and impossible moment feel even more astonishing.

Hosted by the ever-entertaining Chris Wilder, the evening featured two outstanding international performers from Portugal and the Netherlands, each bringing their own unique style, personality and entertainment to the stage.

One of the things that worked really well was the format. The show was split into three separate sessions, giving everyone plenty of opportunity to chat and grab a drink in between performances.

There was also a memorable moment when Affinity member Tünde was invited onto the stage to assist with one of the acts, becoming part of the magic herself and leaving everyone wondering how the trick was actually done.

Hosted for Affinity by Adam, the evening brought together a great mix of members, with plenty of conversation before the show, during the intervals and afterwards.

The Curious Cabaret UNPLUGGED delivered exactly what it promised - an evening of astonishment, mystery and entertainment that had everyone talking long after the final curtain.

A truly magical night out.
