Gedling Country Park Walk – Fresh Air & Great Company

Our recent walk at Gedling Country Park over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend was a perfect reminder of how simple plans can turn into something really special.

Meeting outside Café 1899, the group set off for a relaxed walk through the park, taking in the open spaces, scenic views and peaceful surroundings that make this spot such a local favourite. With its mix of pathways, greenery and elevated viewpoints, it offered plenty of opportunities to pause, chat and enjoy the fresh air.

It was also great to see a mix of familiar faces and new members, along with a few four-legged companions adding even more energy to the day 🐾 Families, individuals and friends all came together, creating a welcoming and inclusive feel from start to finish.

After the walk, many of the group gathered at Café 1899 to warm up with a coffee or lunch, rounding off the morning perfectly.

A relaxed setting, great conversation and a refreshing way to spend a Bank Holiday — everything Affinity is about.
